Ironvale Legions

★★★★★ 4.6 Editor rating

Ironvale Legions is where our tower defence itch meets proper strategy. You manage three lanes at once, deciding when to spend scarce ore on new walls or on upgrading units already in the field. The resource pressure is constant and clever.

The campaign teaches you slowly, then throws mixed enemy waves that force you to read the board fast. We had a couple of missions we replayed four or five times before the plan clicked, and that felt earned rather than cheap.

Controls hold up well on a phone thanks to large, spaced buttons. The only rough edge is that late-game maps can get visually busy on smaller screens.
